Dementia-friendly Living Environment

The floors feature dementia-friendly design elements, minimizing restrictions on the activities of residents with cognitive impairments while creating a safe and comfortable living space.

Anti-Wandering System

Face recognition systems, staff card access, and alarm devices. Dedicated staff closely monitor the behaviors and emotional states of residents with dementia, providing timely assistance.

Ambient Ceiling Lighting

The ceiling lighting can be adjusted according to the time of day to reinforce the residents' temporal orientation.

Chilled Ceiling Temperature Control System with Sound-Absorbing Flooring

This helps reduce daily noise levels and environmental disturbances that can trigger common negative behaviors, such as wandering and sundowning.

Nostalgic Furnishings

These enhance the sense of "home" and "aging-in-place" within the community.

AI Textile

The AI fiber fabric is the world's first non-contact gesture-recognition textile. It can change color in response to different hand movements, enabling interactive and stimulating cognitive training sessions for residents on the dedicated Memory Care floors.
